My Name is Gustavo, I’m a freelance photographer and editor based in Toronto Canada.
Since a very young age I’ve been interested in the arts, whether it’s drawing, music, acting, etc. Although the arts were always my interest, I never knew it would be something that I could actually pursue. Making art with my friends and strangers in something truly magical, specially creative content.
Studying the character, researching locations, and coordinating is the most essential part of my shoots. Bringing the character to life is fun, after that comes my favorite part, shooting! hanging out with friends or meeting someone for the first time is the best, because we get to talk and discuss ideas or maybe even insecurities they have that I can fix with editing. Finally, the final process and the most magical is the editing process, this step is what truly helps take the photos to a new level.
Shooting and editing is a big part of my life but my absolute favorite part of all this, is delivering the photos to the client and seeing their reactions. Makes me feel like all that work is truly worth it.
